Black Myrtle Cafe - Woombye

I think the restaurant has recently changed ownership once more. Not many people are seen there. It is located next to a car repair shop and a laundromat. I would rate it 50/50.

If you weren't aware of its existence, you might overlook this place. The coffee is okay, but the food leaves something to be desired. They could benefit from more advertising.

This is truly one of the best Eggs Benedict dishes I have ever tried. The hollandaise sauce is made fresh for each order, and it's served on a sweet potato rosti instead of the traditional English muffin. The dish also includes roasted tomatoes with a unique seasoning, sautéed Swiss mushrooms with butter, garlic, and thyme, spinach, and smoky bacon. To top it off, the coffee/latte is excellent - not too milky or weak like many other places in the area. I can't wait to come back and try more items on the menu. This restaurant is definitely worth a visit.
