Rodd Mill River - Woodstock

We stopped in for dinner. I had The Halibut dinner was amazing. It was topped with lobster pieces. The veggies were not overcooked and tasty. The fish was great. My GF has the 1/2 rack of baby back ribs. She enjoyed her meal as well.

We we enjoyed our dinner here. Good food, reasonable prices, quick and attentive service. We would definitely return.

Stopped in here for a light lunch and was pleasantly surprised. Good selection of beers and wine, solid upscale pub food menu. We had oysters and chowder. Oysters were perfectly shucked and served with lemon wedges, no cocktail sauce or other accompaniments. We were fine with that, but if you are the type who wants horseradish and cocktail sauce, you may have to ask for it. Chowder was excellent and loaded with large chunks of salmon, scallops, lobster. Sat on the deck which is a very nice space overlooking the greens. Service was excellent, but I should note that they were not very busy at the time. Will definitely return.

I went here with my wife and daughter for lunch on Mother,s Day. We were welcomed right away and seated in minutes. Waiter, Jesse, was right over with water and took drink orders. We had a combination of meals between us and we were all pretty full by the time we were done. We had a pound of mussels for an appetizer, very tasty and could not argue with the price. Overall we were very satisfied with the experience. Jesse did a great job and what we liked was the fact that he seemed to know when we were looking for anything as he would show up at that time. A special thanks to him. We will return again.

My experience at the restaurant was very disappointing. I had to wait 10 minutes to be seated and was greeted by unfriendly staff. I ordered tea, but the water served was lukewarm instead of hot. When I asked for hot water, the server said it comes from the spout at that temperature and apologized for it not being hot.
