Taste Of Italy - Woodstock

This restaurant serves some of the best authentic Italian-style sandwiches that you would find in small shops in Italy. The pizza was also very authentic and delicious. You can also purchase the pizza by the slice. I will definitely be returning for lunch next Saturday.

The restaurant is not worth the price. The food is not good enough to choose over Pizza Hut, Papa John's, or Domino's. If you are willing to spend money on good pizza, try Mansi or Partners instead. The appetizers were disappointing, as they seemed to be previously frozen and could have been made at home.

The 2 girls at the counter were SO RUDE! Didn't speak or acknowledge me at all. When I asked for service I was told they only have 1 register. Not sure what that has to do with speaking and taking an order but I won't be back. The pizza was burnt but still tasty.

First time here and it was delicious. Hubby had the salami pizza sandwich and I had the lasagna. Both were hot, freshly made and delicious. Service was great, too. We will be back.

I wish I could give this restaurant zero stars. We ordered calamari as an appetizer, but it tasted and smelled overwhelmingly fishy, so we only took one bite. My lasagne had ham in it instead of ricotta, and it was not layered in the traditional way - it used wide noodles with meat on top (which was shaped like a long square brick), followed by sauce and two slices of mozzarella cheese. The chicken my companion ordered was tough and definitely frozen. We ended up leaving four full plates of food, including the appetizer. Overall, we were very disappointed with our experience.
