Vince's Mexican - Woodland

Update:. Well maybe I just wasn't enjoying it for lunch but I took a break for a couple years and now started coming with my family. I've found the food enjoyable, but my family likes it so much that their enjoyment spills over to me. Very nice mix of menu options, the vegetable soup is great, and everything is served hot which is important to me. We also read the back of the menu and learned that their is some family connection to Emma's Mexican food in West Sacramento which was a long time favorite but sadly has closed. Hey Vince's, can you make me the Chicana beef burritos plate they used to serve at Emma's? I'd be in love!

If you love traditional Mexican cuisine, Vince's is a must-visit. This family-owned restaurant has been operating for three generations, and it offers an authentic dining experience without the trendy Cal-Mex or Tex-Mex dishes. The prices are quite reasonable, the service is quick, and the food is fantastic. While there is a small bar in the back corner, there's no dancing or live music, allowing for a relaxed atmosphere. The seating is comfortable, and you won’t have to wait long for your meal. Keep in mind that Vince's is closed on Sundays and Mondays— a true sign of a family-run establishment. There's plenty of parking available, with easy access from West Main Street in Woodland. Give Vince's a try; you won't regret it!

The food was absolutely delicious! The portions were generous and incredibly authentic. The restaurant takes COVID safety and customer care seriously, which is great to see. The bartender was hilarious and very respectful, and he makes an excellent margarita. I would definitely recommend this place—10/10!

This is, without a doubt, the best tortilla soup I have ever had! At 58 years old, I can confidently say I would choose this as my last meal. Wow... simply amazing!

I've lived in Woodland for many years, and this was my first visit to Vince's restaurant. To my surprise, the food was absolutely delicious! The salsa had a great flavor, and the lunch soup was delightful. The beans were fantastic, and the rice had a unique twist compared to typical Mexican rice. The carnitas dish was crispy and packed with wonderful flavor. The devil's shrimp was both spicy and sweet, making it very tasty. We thoroughly enjoyed our meal and will definitely return. The prices were reasonable, and the service was friendly.
