Italian cuisine was really delicious, service was attentive, and the manager, Michael, was kindly making sure we were happy. I highly recommend, based on food, service, and ambiance. Thank you, Michael!
I started with the photo of the cheesecake intentionally because it sets the mood. By far this was not worthy being called a cheesecake. It was one of the worst desert I had ordered in my LiFE!. When people describe as a child eating Chalk this is the image that crossed my mind. Whosever idea was it to keep this on the menu from the kitchen should be retrained. The salmon was burnt along the edges and left half my portion on my plate because it was not edible. The grilled octopus was a bit chewy. Be prepared to ask for a knife during your salad order because it is a do-it yourself experience. I can go on about the meals we ordered but take my word for it and just pass. It's a shame because the place also caters for their wedding events and it was an eye opener before our appointment to view the venue. We canceled based on this experience. Our guest would have been really disappointed with their meal. Almost forgot but they added a service fee. I was not sure what it was and asked the waitress and she was surprised to see it. They had to remove it. So watch out for that.
We are staying at the hotel while our home is being renovate. Last night we celebrated our 31st wedding anniversary. Prime night was amazing. We were able to order the food to our liking and keep our low carb lifestyle. It was an amazing dinner. The fireplace was going which was a nice touch on a cool rainy Spring night. I did not catch the name of our waiter but he was great. Overall the diner was a 10 out of 10
We stayed next door at Fox Hollow, and walked over for a terrific dinner. Volpe is set on beautiful grounds, and the inside is romantic and cozy. We started with the rice balls and eggplant appetizers. Both were delicious! My wife had lobster ravioli and raved about it! I chose parpadelle bolognese... while good, I found it just a bit too salty. Pistachio gelato got a thumbs up from the mrs., while I savored a Grand Marnier. All of the other diners' dishes looked great and we'd certainly visit again.
Had Thanksgiving dinner here everyone's food was very salty hardly anyone ate and service was Horrible They automatically added 22% service buried in the bill then at the bottom of the bill they had suggested gratuity of 18% and up I wonder how many people didn't notice and double tipped Not a good experience
