Sushi Tango - Woodbury

The restaurant is fairly average, but it's still a decent spot for sushi. I did notice that most of the dishes came with a dark sauce and chopped sprouts. I would have liked to see a variety of sauces offered to provide a greater range of flavors.

This restaurant offers a fantastic spicy Southeast Asian twist on sushi. I’m a big fan of their dishes, especially those that feature citrus-flavored sauces mixed with Thai chilis. I visit this place quite often and have never had a bad meal, although the service can be a bit slow at times. The oyster shots, ordered extra spicy, have just the right amount of kick. While the seafood larb is a bit pricey, I must admit the flavors are excellent. I would recommend skipping the fried rice. Overall, the portion sizes can be inconsistent, and the prices are above average, but I haven't found any place that compares when it comes to the quality of the food.

After 20 minutes, I returned to the restaurant and stood by the entrance for about 7 minutes. Eventually, the waitress approached me and mentioned that pickup orders are handled at the bar—something I wish the sign out front had indicated. She handed me my order without much of a word. As for the food, I found it to be mediocre. The edamame was $6 for a very small portion. The spring rolls were mostly filled with rice noodles, with only a few strips of carrot and a slice of cucumber, which I found particularly disappointing. On a positive note, the fried soft tofu in shiitake mushroom sauce was quite good. I might consider giving this place another chance on a less hectic evening. Having worked in restaurants for a decade, I understand that some nights can be more challenging than others, and that might have contributed to my experience.

Their Korean bulgogi is not Korean bulgogi. It isn?t the right piece of meat usually used, and none of this is what the traditional food is. The orange is very random, and broccoli? my bf really liked their sushi though. But I really recommend not getting this or the mussel. The mussel is just Japanese mayo on top of it. But the customer service was really great. They worked super fast, despite it being so busy. The waitresses and waiters are really good at their job. 5/5

Always a good time with good food! My partner and I come here almost twice a month because we love it that much. We always get their salmon skin tataki, oysters, and at least 2 rolls (not pictured).
