Contribuiți la feedbackOn a positive note, the chips and salsa were excellent. The green salsa had a nice level of heat, while the red salsa, which contained chunks of tomato, pepper, and onion, had a mild to medium spice. I ordered a taco and cheese enchilada combo. The taco was served on a flour tortilla, but I prefer corn tortillas for a more street taco experience. The carne asada was rather bland, and the enchiladas were made with cheddar instead of cotija cheese, making them taste more like rolled quesadillas than traditional cheese enchiladas. The red and green sauces on the enchiladas had a tangy flavor with mild heat. My spouse chose the lamb dish, which featured shredded lamb, chickpea soup, and flour tortillas. The lamb was quite greasy as it was cooked with the meat's fat, and the soup lacked flavor. He also tried menudo, which had good taste, but the meat was undercooked. Having traveled to interior Mexico, we found this cuisine somewhat bland compared to our Americanized Mexican preferences. However, I believe those seeking authentic flavors might enjoy it, as there were many Spanish-speaking customers, suggesting that our tastes lean more towards the Americanized version of Mexican food.
We visited Trapala's in Hubbard two weeks ago on a Sunday. The servers were great and the food was delicious. We shared a fajita meal, which was wonderful, and we even had leftovers to take home!
On the bright side, the food was incredibly tasty! I really appreciated that they accommodated my allergy by not adding any cilantro to my dish, which definitely earns them points in my book. The chicken in my burrito was grilled beautifully, with nice char marks and incredibly moist meat, perfectly seasoned. It was piled high with rice, beans, cheese, and more, filling the large plate. It was definitely enough for the average person to share. The combo plate was sizable as well. I’m giving them 4 stars primarily due to the slow service, but the food quality, quantity, and value are easily worth a 5-star rating. We spent about $40 for three adults, which included sodas and tea. We visited on a Sunday afternoon, and for our next visit—which I definitely plan to have—I’ll try stopping by around 4 PM during the week or opt for takeout instead.
This restaurant has been a staple for many years. The food has consistently been delicious, and I've never encountered any problems. The customer service has always been excellent as well.
This restaurant serves excellent Mexican cuisine. The menu features a diverse range of options that satisfied everyone in our group. If you're visiting the Woodbury Outlet Mall, it's definitely worth taking the time to find this place. The staff is also fantastic!
