We celebrated a special occasion at The Ufford Crown recently. I hadn’t been for a few years, but it was well worth the wait. The food is arguably the best of any pub in the area, especially the pork belly, which I’m still thinking about weeks later. I’d love to know how they make crackling that good. Three of us ordered tempura monkfish to start, but there were only two portions left, so I happily agreed to have prawns instead, which were still superb. We didn’t have time for dessert, but none of us needed it as the mains were enormous. Service was polite if a little slow for the drinks. The food more than made up for it, however. This pub is a gem! I would definitely visit again if I am in the area. The food, service, and atmosphere all receive a perfect score of 5. It's definitely worth a visit.

I had an amazing experience at this restaurant! The service was impeccable, the atmosphere was top-notch, and the overall experience was fantastic. I highly recommend dining here.

Jury is out on this one. 3 of our party ordered a small roast which was £10. Very good value. I ordered a normal size roast lamb which was £25. ALL the dinners were exactly the same size! When challenged about this I was told it was because I ordered the lamb! Is this really true Ufford Crown? Spoilt it a bit for me I'm afraid as I felt I'd been fobbed off.
