Wondai Bakery Cafe

I ordered two pies from the restaurant, the cheese, steak, and bacon pie. They should rename it the "onion pie" because it had way too many onions. It was the worst pie I have ever eaten, and it fell apart as soon as I touched it. I will not be returning to this restaurant.

This bakery had a wonderful array of goodies and the staff were really friendly. Unfortunately though they didn't have anything at all which was low gluten gluten free.

We stopped in and purchased a meat pie and pastie. The pastie was the best I have ever had. I wish they could deliver them to Cairns. It was packed full of meat and vegetables, absolutely delicious.

Pie and Peas!! Oh, the pastry was so crunchy and the staff were friendly. The fried rice also looked delicious, but unfortunately I was too full to try it.

I was able to stop in on my way to work at 0630 to pick up some treats for a morning tea. The staff were very friendly and offered different options.
