Trang Vietnamese Restaurant

Very busy as it was lunchtime on Mothers day.Staff were very friendly and run off their feet.our meals were fairly slow to come out and a party member who ordered their meal extra spicy had no spice at all! My mothers mixed seafood dish had only calamari in it . The food was tasty and the coffee surprisingly good.

The Vietnamese cuisine at this restaurant is exceptional and a great deal for the price. All of us were pleased with our meals, particularly the delicious soup dumplings. The other dumplings, spring rolls, and pho were also very tasty and came in generous portions. The menu offers a wide variety of options to choose from.

Although I ordered the roll your own Vietnamese roll mixed wok grill, (was healthy, tasty and great value for a big eater or shared with another) I'm glad I tasted my friends Pho soup with sliced beef. The soup broth was amazing and the sliced beef much better quality than I expected from recent experiences at other Vietnamese restaurants. Definitely worth paying those few dollars extra.Only whinge was that pork dumplings for our entree were over cooked, soggy and fell apart.I'm definitely going back for the soup next time.

We have been visiting Trangs for lunch and dinner for many years. The food is always exceptional, especially my favourite the Pho Tai. They have a great menu, so it's a fabulous place to visit with the kids as we are always trying new tastes. The customer service also amazing. Not only generally in food service but their honesty. My daughter left her ipod behind and they kept it safely tucked away until our next visit. Thanks

I hadn't been to Trang for a while, so decided to visit on a whim while driving past. Unfortunately, was disappointed with the food. Everything we ordered needed salt - the pancake was crispy but flavourless, the satay was milky in colour and didn't even taste like peanut, and the ginger basil beef needed seasoning. It was OK, but nowhere near the awesomeness I remember. With so many new restaurants popping up, and so much new food to try, it will probably be a long while before I get back to Trang after this sad experience.
