Park Cafe - Wollanig

We spent an evening here, participating in the weekly English regular table. The café is very courteous and places several tables for people to turn. The group was encouraged to stay as long as they wanted. Note that in the evening meals are not served. We had big apple strudel.

I went to the Park Café to drink a coffee, and I also ordered a cake. I waited for my cake for a long time, but he didn't come. The waitresses talked all the time and didn't know I was waiting. After half an hour, the waitress came to me that the bar would close. They tried to put me on the cake they never served me, and they blamed the other waitress. I gave her the money and she didn't give me the changes without my permission. I never come again!!

We went there with the kids to have icecream and eat a piece of the famous creme cake. You get a beautiful view of the lake. The creme cake was delicious and the kids had a difficult time finnishing their icecream.

It's a very tight race between here and Cafe Herr Vincent for the best coffee in Villach but the Park Cafe just edges it. In addition, the atmosphere in here is rather nice and the outside seating is very pleasant in the sun.

Excellent place to meet friends, have a couple of drinks and relax in the garden. Very good location in the downtown.
