The Surrey - Woking

We had a wonderful experience at this charming local pub, which offers plenty of parking. We visited for a family birthday lunch today with a party of 14, and the owners generously reserved a whole section of the pub for us, creating a delightful private space. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming. As for the food, it was fantastic! The portions were generous and the quality was exceptional, making it great value for money. It's also dog-friendly, so we enjoyed meeting Chase and all the other adorable dogs there. We will definitely be back and highly recommend that you give it a try. A big thank you to the staff for making our day so special; it was truly appreciated!

We had a fantastic evening at The Surrey on Friday. We went for dinner and enjoyed a few drinks as well. The food was excellent and offered great value. The drinks were also reasonably priced, with a nice selection of beers and gins! Liv and Sabina provided outstanding service and were extremely accommodating. The pub has a wonderful atmosphere and is easily one of the best we've been to in a long time. We can't wait for our next visit!

I was very impressed with our experience. We needed a quick meal before heading to a local crematorium, and we were warmly welcomed by a friendly young bartender. He helped us navigate the senior menu and provided prompt service. The value for what we wanted was excellent. Thank you!

I have lived in Woking as a kid and been to this place a few times. Now this place is spot on. Food was amazing, very warm welcome soon as we walked in. Greeted by Amie and chef kosta. Nothing was too much trouble. Had a large party of 13 people, food was amazing and didn't take too long at all. Had a nice chat with Jo and Joe about how long they have been here. All very friendly with the kids and brought out some treats for the kids. Can't wait to come back. Well worth the hour drive

Usually, when we eat here service is good and the food tastes fine. although this time disappointed and ruined father’s day for me. we waited 35 mins for food which is understandable but when we tried it, it was cold and the steak was unseasoned and had no flavour. it was disgusting. The chips to the chicken burger were stale and the cheese wasn’t even melted (because both meals were cold). Overall disappointed and not sure if i’d return.
