A fantastic Lebanese restaurant. large food and personal and decor

A group of four of us spent here a nice evening. the whole experience was exactly what we hoped. a mix of good food served by very attentive staff in the pleasant environment. a lot of time to talk and enjoy the food. I would certainly recommend a bit and would definitely go back if we were in woking.

The food was sufficient on the good side (and the portions were very generous) and the waiting staff was quick and friendly. nothing special, but perfect. but, oh my, the booze dance. we are suspected that this is a taste problem, but it made our entire table feeling very uncomfortable, not very much of the 21st century and the most enthusiastic of some of the waiting employees was to start out. please stay at dinner!

Disappointed to have booked and not be warned about the £29.50 mezze being the only available option. Told when sat down. Not much option but to accept. Food great. Tried to charge £30ppn for each of us there were 2 adults and an 8 year old and 10 year old despite agreeing to do 1 £30 deal for the 2 of them when we ordered. When asked for the bill I was over charged. They didn’t leave bill on table and just tell you the value and present the card machine immediately. I queried and he went to alter. I paid. I realised that in fact they had charged more than the first time. I ended up having to ask for a print out of the bill on my way out. He gave it to me. It wasn’t even our bill plus they’d charged £32 for the set menu!!?!?!!. I wrote down what we had eaten and drank and we added it up properly together and he had indeed overcharged by £20. He couldn’t refund the card and so gave cash. Lush food. If you go please check what’s on offer before you go. Then insist that the bill if left on your table like in a normal restaurant. This gives the customer the time to check all is well before paying. I really felt the chap was trying to pull the wool over our eyes. Don’t let them! He did the same to another table which had a couple and a young child of about 6 or 7. Charged £90. The excuse was that he couldn’t deduct £40 dine in because we only wanted 3 set menus. Rubbish. We have eaten out all month in the scheme in restaurant in bristol and in central London and this is the only time I’ve heard this tosh. Chap could put whatever he wanted into the till ...it’s his restaurant. 4 of us dined. 4 x £10 to come of bill. I found the whole invoicing experience poor and embarrassing.
