Mühlencafe Carolinensiel - Wittmund

Great cafe restaurant and the old mill in Carolinensiel. There are homemade cakes, delicious fresh flame cakes and various carvings, curry sausage, ice cream and more. The annexes are simply renovated and redesigned. The mill is located on the edge of Carolinensiel and it is really relaxed to sit there and there for lunch or dinner. Very tasty sauces made to the carvings and especially themselves.

After 14 years we were back in Carolinensiel. At this time we lived in the old mill, not directly in the mill, but in an outbuilding. Since 2011 there is probably a new owner who has no more apartments but opens the mill café in the mill. Easter 2013: sitting outside was too cold despite the sun. Inside it is cozy and warm. There are various delicious fruitcakes, wind sacks and others. Coffee and cocoa are delicious. The service friendly and accommodating.
