I found this restaurant super a good address in Herbede. Especially the sauces were in my very good memory. But when I had eaten again with friends after a long time (some years) (because I had said the food before) I felt it tastefully only on average. Not bad! On average. That's how my friends felt. It was a good evening and we could come back sometime.

Visit us Socrates more often, last Christmas. All dishes were fresh and super tasteful. The service was perfect and very attentive. There were times when it wasn't like that, but that's over. Go back and convince yourself.

Actually, we just wanted to eat a dungeon fast, but the two shops on the way home were closed on Mondays. So we landed by chance in Socrates restaurant. Nice little place in Witten-Herbede. Very friendly staff. Prices are not overpriced but rather average (as at 31.10.22. Coca Cola (and yes it is Coca Cola! for 0.5l 4.50€, for the Gyrosteller 13.90€. The portion is right. Not too small, not too big. This is naturally subjective. The plate is full, don't worry! In addition, although it was relatively full, the food came very quickly. The salad came almost immediately. Everything's very fresh from food. Salad fresh, not an old fat. And the dressing at the salad is really delicious! Payment with girocard (former EC card is possible. With a master debit card, I'm unsafe, because the card device meant a message to be lost (but I never had before).
