Old Swan - Witney

Very nice place but a sad occasion, food and service both excellent Service: 4 Location: 4

We went for a little relaxing holiday. We found a hotel without atmosphere and unfriendly. The room was missing toilet paper, bathrobe and other things. The pool had cold water and we couldn't stay in it. I booked a small luxurious holiday but in reality it was not to my liking. We went to the pub, the food was good but the service was terrible. We certainly won't be back, too bad. Rooms: I had booked a large room and upon arrival they gave me a different room to the one I had booked, then I had to go to reception and they changed it for me. The room was missing toilet paper bathrobe and other things.

We had a wonderful meal at the Swan last week with great service and atmosphere, we tried some of their famous hand made pies and they were delicious, highly recommended Service: 5 Location: 5 Hotel highlights: Quiet

We traveled here all the way from Texas, USA as a base for our visit to the Cotswold sand we were not disappointed. The Old Swan is quite magical in its history and quaintness, yet still had the amenities necessary to make for a very enjoyable stay. The Pie Brew was fantastic with amazing traditional English food. We had dinner and breakfast there twice and loved all of it. The staff was extremely friendly and made this one amazing trip. We will be back, I just wish this place wasn’t 4700 miles away

My now wife and I recently got married here. The whole weekend was brilliant. The food was excellent, the rooms were great and the staff were amazing, doing whatever they could to make us and our guests stay as good as possible, nothing was too much work.
