The Wishaw Malt

Went here for a family birthday there was 8 adults 6 kids. Did not book beforehand but there was plenty of space and we pushed tables together for the group, which wasn't a problem. All ordered various foods steaks very nice, pepper sauce great, chicken burgers very tasty all came with chunky chips. Children's portions are quite big pizza, chicken nuggets chips but bean portion small. There was a good atmosphere and friendly staff. Clean toilets.

Just had lunch here with my wife. I have a severe meat allergy and must praise Hannah and Greer for going above and beyond the call of duty to ensure there was no cross-contamination in the kitchen. Delicious food and these two young ladies are real assets to the pub. Thank you.

Decent food nice staff .nice out door area bit nosey due to traffic .nice for quick lunch for reasonable price .I had tennessee burger in pic was great .my partner had mammoth burger she would recommend

I know “spoons” doesn’t have the best of reputations but I honestly can’t fault my local. It’s not perfect by any stretch but prices are fantastic the service is decent and the food edible. Which is a damn site better than a lot more expensive places manage to do Great for a midweek bite to eat and a few beers

All good , food was OK. But noticed the portions are getting smaller for the price. Service was god as well. In general recommend
