I know they are first open, but that's when you need to bring your best. If this is thebest, your location is not going to do well. As I was waiting for my order, I noticed employees looked confused. One had a bowlof tortillas and there was a discussion over them. Maybe wrong order? The chips were dumped back in the warming drawer and thebowl placed back in the stack for the next order. Look, it's a bowl of chips. You did it up wrong? So what! Give themcomplimentary and be done. What happened looked like recycling food. This wasn't even my order. Just what I witnessed. Please,Stevens Point, share a few employees so these guys can figure it out and not sink the ship. Food wise? It was only 11:30, and asI am adding to my order, everything was low. What's with that? You didn't even have the lunch crowd rush yet...????
The food looks great but has little to no taste. The price of the food for the size of the portion is a bit on the high side. The only reason for the two stars is that the staff is friendly and willing to prepare your food however you prefer.
I've had the pleasure of visiting QDOBA twice, and I haven't had any issues with their food. The bowls are incredibly satisfying, especially since you can customize them with whatever toppings you like, and the roasted tomato salsa is absolutely amazing! However, I think the staff at this location could improve their customer service, especially the cashiers my husband and I have encountered. A simple "hello" goes a long way, and speaking loudly would help others hear you better. If I ask you to repeat yourself and you respond with laughter, that's not appropriate. Furthermore, whether the chips are complimentary or not, if a meal includes specific items, the cashier should ask if the customer wants them. My husband was in the restaurant at a time when it wasn't busy, so there was no reason for the chips to be overlooked, especially since it's part of the cashier's role to ask about them. We will definitely continue to come back, but I do hope the customer service improves.
I would rate this restaurant lower if I could, but the least I can give is one star. They are consistently out of ingredients, and the management only offers excuses, none of which mention staffing shortages. What is available seems to have been sitting too long in the holding bins. This is my fifth visit at different times of the day, and the experience has been the same each time. As a newly opened location, they are certainly not starting off well.
I usually enjoy QDOBA, but my experience at the Wisconsin Rapids location was terrible. The restaurant was unclean; it looked like the floors hadn’t been mopped in ages, and all the tables in the dining area were dirty. We visited at 5:30 PM, which is prime dinner time, yet the food was cold. To make matters worse, the cashier didn’t return our change. The staff was rude and unapproachable. Overall, the experience wasn’t worth the money we spent, and I likely won’t be returning to this location.
