Mammy's Bakery - Wiscasset

I am extremely disappointed with my experience at this restaurant. I ordered a birthday cake, but when I went to pick it up, it had not been made and the baker was not helpful in explaining why. The staff confirmed my pick-up date, but there was no cake available, even without the personalization I had requested. Now we are left without a cake for my partner's birthday. Such a letdown.

Who in their right mind wouldn't give this place five stars? How is it possible that a small restaurant in a small town in Maine serves better sandwiches than anywhere in the greater Orlando area? The Elijah sandwich was amazing, like the best turkey sandwich you've ever had, made with real turkey and freshly baked bread. The Lemoncello cake was light and delicious, with a rich flavor that was unforgettable. Even my sister-in-law, who had just finished hiking Mount Battie, said the chocolate chip cookie might be the best she's ever had. This place is a hidden gem - definitely worth a stop.

Went here once and they had really amazing ricotta pies. Went the next week to get more and even though they were written on the board, they didn’t have any, didn’t make any, and weren’t going to make any that week. I asked when they would, they said next Friday, today. I called today as I didn’t want to drive all the way if they didn’t have them. The phone rang and rang until an auto message came up. Drove and went in today, REALLY wanting those ricotta pies. Didn’t have any! Just very disappointed. Don’t tell people a day you’ll have something if you have no intention of doing that.

Omg the lemon cello cake is the best and I don't buy cake. Tried it and going back for more. Nice light dessert. Real treat.

Stopped by in the early afternoon. Selection was pretty thin by then, but we got some lobster tails and some sfogliatelle. Both were delicious and the lobster tail was one of the best we have had. Parking is a bit tricky, and you should get there early for the best selection.
