Steak On Sea - WIRRAL

A lovely restaurant with great food. Lots of choice for vegans/vegetarians. I recommend the vegan dirty nachos! As with everywhere at the moment the service was slow, not so much in terms of ordering or getting your food, but certainly in the clearing away. That...said, the staff were friendly and apologetic and gave us our cocktails on the house to make up for the wait. A really nice place to spend an evening!

Great location as it’s very close to the beach. Didn’t have to wait too long to be seated and order drinks and food, so was off to a good start. Unfortunately the main meal ruined the whole experience. My partner and I both ordered fish...and chips, but with it containing so many bones and not even being cooked properly (the batter was very doughy and chewy), I couldn’t even finish half of the whole fish! Seemed like a rush job. What’s worse is we had to pay for the disappointment! I told the waitress that I didn’t enjoy my meal, and that I wouldn’t pay for that part. But she just ignored me and said she’d tell the chef. Definitely won’t be going back there!

Absolute pants. Not a busy evening shocking customer service And have a service charge for the privilege of bringing our drinks to us minutes later!! Waiter was clueless the glass smelt weird , safe to say we won’t be returning ever

Food came slow, but Konstantin got onto it and created a great service recovery for us. Really appreciated the effort. Also good music and atmosphere from the DJ. Would suggest some background music when the set finishes.
