The Olive Tree Bistro New Brighton

We all really enjoyed our meals. There were 4 of us and we all had roasts 3 for the chicken and one for lamb. One of us did think she had a potato which was a little hard, but everyone else said everything was really nice. I had the roasts and mine were all very nice and well cooked. They ran out of apple crumble but they apologised as they remembered from last November that it was my favourite. I was pleased that they remembered me. I had sticky toffee pudding instead with custard which was lovely. There was another in the group who had sticky toffee pudding and said she enjoyed it. The other two in the party had the belgian waffles, again they were nicely served and presented. Overall all 4 of us enjoyed our meal and said we would go back again.

Lovely bistro, good choice of dishes, food was lovely and service was very good.We had a nice bottle of wine, prices represent excellent value for money. Would definitely go again

We had a great experience at this charming little restaurant. Both of us ordered the Sunday roasts - one lamb and one chicken. The meat was juicy and flavorful, and the vegetables, potatoes, and Yorkshire puddings were all cooked perfectly. The atmosphere was friendly and the service was attentive from beginning to end. We were very pleased with our find and will definitely be returning in the future!

We made a reservation at the Olive Tree Bistro online and mentioned that we were celebrating our 5th Wedding anniversary. Unfortunately, when we arrived, there was no acknowledgment of our special occasion. The food we ordered, rump steak cooked medium and seared duck breast cooked pink, was overdone and not as good as our previous visit to the restaurant about a year ago. It was more like average pub food rather than the outstanding meal we were expecting.
