Gasthof Blume Ruemikon P. Schaettin

I have to add my review to the list of disappointed customers. The portions are very small and expensive as hell. I had a won ton soup and sweet sour chicken, plus a diet coke. For that, I had the privilege of paying CHF41.00. Unfortunately I left the restaurant still hungry, which is always a bad sign. On the positive side I can say the meal tied me over until I could get home and eat something else, and that the staff were attentive (although the place was empty).

A great surpirse, how good the food was. We had hot-sauer soup, spicy with lots of ingredients, followed by three dishes, steamed fish in the best of Cantonese tradition with lots of thread thin cut ginger and spring onions, steamed spare ribs in black bean sauce and fried tofu. The dessert was fried coconut cream with vanilla ice cream. The fish was excellent, we have called in to order it ahead. The other two dishes were also tasty. The ambiance is pleasant. The decoration is more on the modern side and spacious. The service is excellent, highly recommended. You have to call in ahead if you want something special.

Das Abendessen war köstlich und der Preis war auch sehr angemessen. Wir kommen gerne wieder zum Essen vorbei.

Tolle Auswahl und hervorragend zubereitet, alles frisch und schön präsentiert. Der Service war freundlich. Einziger kleiner Nachteil: Die Entenplatte war nicht vorgewärmt. Insgesamt ein sehr guter Eindruck, gerne wieder.
