They have a great menu, so it was not too easy to choose, but then we had some amazing fresh rösti, in different variations, which i can really recommend. I tried one of their beers even though I am very picky with beer and again I can recommend the honey beer. Very friendly service and even open kitchen after 13:30, which may be rare in Switzerland. Also open on mondays.

The brewery was full due to a local holiday . Nevertheless, there were still 2 cookies during our spontaneous visit. The meal was excellent. I would happily recommend the hamburger. And: definitely try one of the local beers.

Sadly the typical Swiss potato) Rösti offered are not gluten free made also with normal wheat flour but staff knew about it and were knowledgeable about gf) so I was advised by staff had to switch to the only gf option which was a small pizza called „Brauer Hefeteigfladen“ which is declared a gf option in the menu. It was a totally self made crust and very yummy. Because of this I asked the waiter twice if it was really gluten free and he confirmed that. As I had no immediate health issues after that I am not celiac but very sensitive to gluten and especially wheat in general) I was very optimistic it would be a good place for gf eaters and wrote my initial remark here. When mid next day the first typical symptoms of gluten contamination started I knew the place is not clean at all and cross contamination must be an issue in this kitchen!
