Contribuiți la feedbackI hadn't visited this restaurant in years, but after receiving a gift card, I decided to give it another shot. Despite a one-hour wait, I was still hopeful. Once seated, though, the service was exceedingly slow. When the food finally arrived—Korean chicken and Chicken Madeira—it looked great, but unfortunately, the flavors were forgettable. It seems the place has lost its former charm. This was the first time in my life that I couldn't wait to leave a restaurant.
The food is consistently excellent! The service is fantastic, and the restaurant is clean and beautifully decorated. I make it a point to try a different cheesecake each time I visit. Sometimes, I even order it as an appetizer because I often don't have room for dessert!
This is a wonderful place for special occasions, especially during the cooler months when we can stroll around the Winter Park area and enjoy the outdoor patio seating. However, it’s definitely not ideal if you're in a hurry, as there’s usually a wait to be seated. We’ve found that it’s a good idea to request a menu to look at while waiting since there are so many options to choose from—we might as well make the most of our time. The portions are generous; I’ve never left feeling hungry or disappointed with the quality of the food, whether we order sandwiches, comfort food, salads, or something a bit more unique. The servers are always attentive and regularly check in on us; I’ve never had the feeling that we were forgotten by our waiter.
Love cheesecake factory. Last time I went was in 2007 so was nice to go back after ages. This location was nice. I always loved the buffalo blast and one of the main reasons I was looking forward to going back. However, was really disappointed at how much they have shrunk over the years. I remember ordering these back in 2007 and 2 of us struggled to finish it. Cheesecakes are plentiful and amazing. Lots of choice on the menu, although not the best for vegetarians, although there was one or two options.
My wife and I went to The Cheesecake Factory in Winter Park for dinner tonight. The food is normally pretty good, but the service is usually not that great. We arrived about 5:45. Got seated. After a few minutes we asked for bread and I ordered a drink. When I got my drink I asked if they had a happy hour. The waitress wasn't even sure, then got us a happy hour menu and said it ended at 6:00. It would have been nice if she had mentioned happy hour when she first came by instead of waiting until it was over. If finished my drink and asked for a Coke, as I was driving and didn't want to have too much alcohol. I reminded her we needed bread. I ordered the Steak Diane with Salmon and my wife got the Chicken Salad Sandwich. She came back and asked how we were doing. I told her we still needed bread and I never got my Coke. She finally brought my Coke and brought out our dinners. It had now been 35 minutes. Still no bread. Finally got the bread, but it took 40 minutes. Also got a refill on my Coke. The table next to us had their orders messed up and were missing a couple dishes as well. They didn't appear too happy. The food was good but not great. As for the Steak Diane, I would suggest that they peel the onions before caramelizing them. Skin on the onions was a little off putting. The chicken salad had tendons which my wife didn't care for. The Cheesecakes, not pictured were of course excellent. While the service wasn't bad, it really could have been better, and taking over a half hour to bring the bread out after our entrees was not acceptable, in my opinion. Honestly, the food quality is normally better. Again it wasn't bad, just not up to their usual standards. For the prices, they should step it up a notch.
