Sonny's Bbq - Winter Park

I hadn’t eaten at Sonny’s in years and decided to drop in with the family so the kids could experience a little nostalgia. Overall, I would say everything was very good. Not quite “award winning” BBQ as other boutique BBQ joints claim, but definitely better than chain restaurant BBQ. More importantly, you can’t beat the price. Will definitely be back again. My family has been going to Sonny's for over 20 years. Our closest Sonny's in Waterford closed down so went to one on Forsyth and University. We ordered the feast for 4. The toast was burned on one side and untoasted at all on the other. They gave us a mix of new and old Fry's. The older ones were over cooked and the others were under cooked. The sliced pork that came on the tray was cold. I had the waitress get us new toast but did not tell her about the other stuff. I didn't want to be a Karen and I was not looking for a free meal.
