Mellow Mushroom - Winter Park

I had never been to Mellow Mushroom before, so it was a new experience for me. I have always seen this place around, but I am glad I finally decided to try it out. The atmosphere at Mellow Mushroom was a mix of a restaurant and a bar.

I appreciate the diverse selection of toppings and combinations available in the pizza offerings at Mellow Mushroom. There is something for everyone's taste preferences to enjoy.

We loved the sacred shiitake pie veganized. we were also very impressed by the pacific rim veganized with vegan cheese and balsamico tempeh instead of meat. there are some delicious vegan options here, kreatiw with their orders kudos to mellow mushroom for a pizza chain that has been vegan cheese for many years! I wish there were more of their signature pizzaanine veganized on a vegan menu, the order would be easier for the customer and also the server!

I love mellow mushroom and have been several times since this incident (has no other problems), but my first time in one was told that their pesto pizza sauce is vegan. later I found out from another location that it has milk in it. only fyi when someone tries to tell them it is vegan, it is not. other than this experience they use follow your heart vegan cheese for their vegan pizzas/calzones etc. and it's pretty good!
