Workmans &smokehouse - Winston

This charming little bar in a small town is a hidden gem with fantastic food! I visited on a Tuesday when they held a billiards tournament, which was a lot of fun and attracted a lively crowd. The bartender was wonderful and made for an enjoyable evening.

This is a fantastic spot to grab a drink after work. The staff is friendly, and the atmosphere is welcoming.

I had high expectations for this restaurant, but unfortunately, my experience was disappointing. I ordered the pulled pork fries, which arrived undercooked, cold, and soggy, with the pork lacking any flavor. I also tried the workman's sandwich, which seems like it should be a signature dish. While it was decent, it was nothing special and quite bland. I might consider dining here again if someone else proposed it, but I wouldn't choose it myself for a meal.

So they do show set hours on the internet, but when we called at 5:50pm the girl who answered who sounded like she runs the place stated at first they were just serving appetizers because it was late but when I reviewed with her that the meat wasalready cooked, she said oh yeah I can cook for the next hour. I specifically then asked her if they had tri tip to servetonight she said oh yeah. They need to decide... Are they just going to be a bar or do they want to develop a following fortheir food. I guess I 'll stop by next month to see if they have decided to step up their business. Until then, I guess you cantry your luck if they feel like it .????.

Food is always amazing, drinks are good and bartenders are very creative with drinks when you ask for a surprise. This place has a welcoming environment and plenty of entertainment
