We had an incredible experience as first-time customers at this restaurant, thanks to our server, J. Peddle. I brought my wife and our friend from Galax, VA to try it out. We received a gift card for a special occasion, and it truly exceeded our expectations. J. Peddle provided outstanding customer service; our food arrived promptly, was fresh, and beautifully presented. We will definitely return because of the excellent service and the high quality of food that the chef prepared for us tonight.

Amazing steak! I rarely order it, and when I do, I usually opt for it to be cooked rare. The steak was incredibly tender and juicy, which can be hard to find in restaurants. The sautéed spinach was served hot and was delicious, while the other dishes were also flavorful. The tavern was very busy, but I sat in the bar area and was served quickly; my food arrived in no time. Overall, it was a fantastic experience!

You truly can’t go wrong with any choice on the menu. The shrimp and grits were the standout dish at our table; the flavors were a delightful celebration for the palate! The wings arrived perfectly crispy, well-seasoned, and delightfully saucy. I highly recommend you not miss out on this culinary gem. There are also plenty of great gluten-free options available!

I love this place! the service is exceptional! eating is simply amazing! I can eat here every day and never be disappointed! the buttercake is devine!

This is my 2nd village tavern I been to. I like this one better than the greensboro one. The Alfredo and Hot crab dip is outta this world. 10/10 going back. ONLY critique is the sauce was a bit too thin for my preference, but flavor, presentation, portion, and quality are great.
