West Town - Winston-Salem

I'm not a very picky person, but this is a place I will never eat at again. When I walked in, I was hit with a very pungent smell of toilet water. I am also partially nose blind from covid... let that sink in. The food was edible at best. The rice is instant, and it appears they were serving day old food. The rice had discolored dry grains mixed in with it. The mashed potatoes are also seem instant. The food was not anything special... Our waiter was very sweet, she had a beautiful smile. The cafeteria servers looked miserable. They wouldn't smile or anything. They looked incredibly unhappy... probably because they're working in a place that smells like toilet water. I do not recommend this place. You'd get better bang for your buck at a buffet.

This was a bummer all around, unfortunately. Made a group order. Two salads had uncooked bacon. One of the salads had hair in it (gross! . The gyro didn’t have tzaziki sauce, but was supposed to per the menu item description. Definitely don’t plan to order again here.

Took a bit for the waitress to get to us to place order and had to send mine back because order was wrong. Food tasted okay but the dressing for my side salad got too watered down due to water left when the salad was plated. Could not eat the hard hush puppies because they were saturated in grease. The ketchup bottle was NASTY with what looked like dirt around the top and old ketchup drips inside the lid. Would have grabbed another bottle from a different table, but it was just as bad.

My experience, don't get the chicken pie. Get Marie Callender's instead. I'll try something different next time and hope it gets a better review. Professional servers, even if most are young. Great job! Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $10–20 Food: 2 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 3
