Kfc - Winston Salem

The atmosphere was quite unfriendly. My order arrived incomplete, and whenever we discovered something was missing, the staff responded in a cold manner. No one bothered to come over to address the issue. Additionally, you need a passcode to access the restroom, which could be problematic if someone were to open the door while someone else is inside.

Review of Blind Trust: I would rate the service 4 out of 5 stars. The staff was welcoming and the food met my expectations. The open kitchen concept enhanced the dining experience, and the parking area was tidy. I think every restaurant begins with a default rating of 3 stars in the Blind Trust Report. How can you truly gauge trust in a restaurant without prior visits? Each server starts at 3 stars, which is something to consider. Overall, I give the Blind Trust Level a score of 5 out of 4 stars; the service was clear and the food preparation was somewhat observable.

I received subpar service at the drive-thru. There was no greeting; I was just rushed through to place my order and then to pay. I can overlook that, as rudeness seems to be the norm these days. However, what really bothered me was seeing an employee eating behind the counter where customers could see them. I'm also quite upset with how my side items were packed. I always believed that hot and cold foods should be kept separate. My two individual mashed potatoes and order of fries were just tossed together in the bag with the coleslaw. By the time I got home, I had to reheat the fries. It's disappointing to see that many restaurants seem to be hiring just to keep their doors open, rather than focusing on quality service and presentation.

The young lady at the cash register was incredibly polite and patient. She had a positive attitude and was very friendly, providing us with excellent assistance.

While the cost of "cheap" fast food has increased considerably and often doesn't seem justified, that’s not usually the case with KFC. I actually favor this location over other KFC branches nearby. The food is served hot, the chicken is juicy, the fries are crispy, and the biscuits are wonderfully soft. They also have a unique flavor of Mountain Dew (Lightning) that you won't find anywhere else. If you’re in the area and have a craving for fried chicken without the need to add a lot of healthy veggies to your meal, especially when you're pressed for time, make sure to stop by and grab a bite!
