Noujaim's Bistro - WINSTED

I have now been 4 times. Cannot find better Lebanese cuisine in CT! Always has lamb on the menu, and all the toppings and sides are made in-house. Just order the appetizers like tapas and you won't regret it.

Always wonderful, friendly and accommodating.... what else is there

Had a group of 7 for dinner. The owner/chef greeted us and the attentive staff made sure our every need was attended to. Would have given 5 stars but for the very large group that was dining at the same time, made the restaurant very noisey.

Outstanding food. Wonderful flavors. Friendly service, including two visits from the chef. Reasonably priced meal overall given ability to BYO.

My main objection was that we are a couple who came to have a nice meal and conversation with one another, but the entertainment, which I was not aware would be there when reserving on-line, nor when seated, was a singer who seemed more appropriate for an actual Club venue. She continuously tried to engage us in her songs and between-song chatter, even coming to our table while singing. The volume of her karaoke machine background and her singing were so loud and her actions toward us were so intrusive, I felt like my ability to converse with my wife over dinner had been hijacked. A simple single instrumentalist playing softly as background would better suit this small venue. We left between sets, skipping dessert and coffee, so as to avoid the second set, which promised, from her description, to be even more flamboyant.
