Mel's Diner Shay's Crawfish Shack

My first time dining at Shay's was this evening. I don't eat seafood, so I opted for the hamburger with fries, and we also shared some onion rings (though we couldn't finish everything, it was so delicious). The burger was one of the best I've ever had, and the fries and onion rings were also delightful. Our waitress, with blonde hair (I didn't catch her name), was friendly and accommodating, and the young lady who brought our food to the table was very nice as well. We will definitely be returning to Shay's in the future. Well done to the Shay's employees and staff for providing such a great dining experience. We are grateful to have you in Winnsboro.

The 45-minute wait for food was unacceptable. The portions were small and overpriced. This new restaurant did not meet expectations.

We decided to dine at Shay's based on a recommendation, but unfortunately our experience was disappointing. We had to pay five dollars for drinks before leaving. Despite ordering appetizers, we waited for about 45 minutes without receiving any food or drink refills. It seemed that other diners around us were also experiencing long wait times and lack of service. In fact, many people left because they did not receive their food. Only one waiter seemed to be working, and she was seen apologizing to customers while bringing them drinks.

You should definitely try the delicious boiled shrimp here! They are amazing and a must-try dish!

We ordered 30 pounds of crawfish and they were truly delicious! The seasoning on them was incredible. I highly recommend this place!
