Vamos Tacos - Winnipeg

Had the place to ourselves on a Friday at prime time so I was a little worried. We were in for a pleasant surprise as the service was fast, friendly and helpful. The true highlight was the food! Had the burrito bowl and an enchilada and they were freshly cooked, full of flavor and the best Mexican I've had in winnipeg.

This place has really delicious food. The owners are really friendly and passionate about their food. It's much tastier than any of the chain options I've had in the city. Fresh and made with care!<br/

My wife and I really enjoy this place.  Everything is unpretentious, from the decor to the service.  They 're eager to please, and quick, but they give you space to breathe and chat.  <br/ <br/ The prices are very reasonable, and I find the portions to be 'just right '.  Usually I leave with just enough leftovers for a midnight snack.<br/ <br/ So far I 've found the food to be delicious and surprisingly subtle in flavour.  I 'm not particularly worried about whether it 's authentic only if it tastes good.  I especially enjoy the empanadas and the churros.<br/ <br/ I 've been there three times and every time I 've left full and happy.

Absolutely delicious. Beats anything Mexican in the area. Good was fresh and fantastic. I had the empanadas and the tacos left wanting more. Will absolutely be back

My date and I ate in the restaurant on sat 5pm. The server was an older asian dude. Very quiet but polite. We thought he was awesome. Ordered beef and carnita (shredded pork) soft tacos. The soft tortilla is freshly made. We enjoyed them immensely!!
