Tavern United Fort Garry - Winnipeg

Always loved stopping by Tavern United Fort Garry! Friendly, helpful Staff, as we are visitors to Winnipeg frequently. Enjoyed an ice cold draft at a good happy hour price. Large selection on menu and the best wings, with so many sauces and seasonings! Excellent Service, and a great patio, but we like inside, nice and cool on a hot day! Nightly specials on drinks!

Hubby and I are staying in the Canad Inn on Pembina Hwy. and just wanted a little something to eat in the evening. The Tavern United offers daily food and drink specials and Wednesday night is wing night. A Basket of wings (12?) for $5.49 when you order a drink. I ordered the Butter Chicken Wings and Hubby had the Frank's Red Hot wings. It is a plentiful serving and the wings are juicy, large and meaty. The service was okay. We went and retrieved menus for ourselves after waiting for a few minutes to be served at our table. The wings did take a long time to arrive but they were worth waiting for. Lots of big screen TV's around playing Sports and they had a good crowd for a midweek night.

Wait staff was courteous but extremely helpful in suggesting what to order. Our food was very good and with the convenience of us staying at the hotel, it made for a pleasant dinner choice.

Came here with coworkers after work one evening. I had a blackberry mojito, which was not that great (just tasted like soda water), and then I tried the lemonade mixed drink with cucumber which was so tasty I had to have two!! The service was quite slow and the interior is nothing fancy. Drinks were reasonably priced.

Stopped in for a glass of wine before going to Celebrations Dinner Theatre on March 2nd. Would like to order some snacks since they looked so good as they were being delivered to another table. However, can't spoil my appetite for the four-course dinner coming up at Celebrations.Serving personnel is very friendly at the Tavern and came back to check a couple times to see if we wanted anything else.
