Rustic Restaurant & Bakery - Winnipeg

We tried this restaurant late last year and have revisited many times. We have NEVER been disappointed...the food is tasty the service is excellent and all the ladies are so very polite! I've recommended this restaurant to many friends and family......everyone loves it. Hands down this restaurant has spoiled us.....we never eat at any Chinese food restaurants other than this one now. Give them a try ! you won't be disappointed.

This querky restaraunt is a gem. A mix of Chinese dim sum items and Vietnamese. Tom yum soup was great and the tofu dishes are tasty.

This was possibly the worst food I've ever tasted. We had the stir fry - the meat was globby and fatty with zero flavour - Inedible actually. The waitress was lovely, and gave us our meals at half price after we gave her our feedback. She told us that the stir fry's are not their specialty. Then don't have them on the menu! Will not return.

We enjoyed our meals very much. It was tasty and right amount of spice. This was our first time at this restaurant and we will be going again! I would recommend.

I ordered in from here, had the calamari (incredibly tender, perhaps a bit heavy on the batter though, and very light on the tartar sauce it came with) and the Cantonese chow mein. The latter was also quite good, although the barbecue pork was a bit bland and the egg noodles had been scorched a bit in the exterior. The interior noodles were just perfectly crispy and soft at the same time. Surprising fare considering the name, but glad I tried it!
