Contribuiți la feedbackOn a previous trip to Winnipeg last September we stumbled on this little brewery. It was brand new and we had a blast. We just drank beers there and did not eat. This time, on our visit to Winnipeg after an amazing trip to Churchill to see the Belugas and Polar Beers we searched for our favourite little brew pub. There it was . This time had food with the beers. OUTSTANDING sandwiches. Truly outstanding. 100% recommend this place for good food and beers. Thanks Carissa for making our "last supper" so memorable. We couldn't have chosen a sweeter, more accommodating waitress if we tried. You stole my heart. Thanks millions. Loved this place...June and Nelson
Seeing as this place was literally across the street from where I was in town doing business I got the chance to head over there twice. The first time I only had beer sampler, which entails 4 or 5 very small glasses of different beers that they produce. The waitress explained them all. It a great way to try them all and not feel like you`ve drank too much or feel heavy from drinking all that beer. The second time I had one of their sandwiches, Caesar salad and homemade ice tea/lemonade mix. The sandwich was ok but they had this cheese they make in Winnipeg inside it and I didn`t really like the taste, other then that the bread was delicious which they make in house as well as the remaining part of the sandwich. The salad and homemade croutons were my absolute favorite and definitely recommend you try it. As for the homemade ice team/lemonade maybe I would be more impressed if I hadn`t mixed them. The people working there were really nice and they have a cute little bunny that hangs out on their outdoor patio.
I feel this is one of Winnipeg's first micro breweries. A decent list of easy to eat appetizers and starters and I feel a great selection of local beer. Worth a try if you are in the exchange or downtown area of Winnipeg
Place was alright, good selection of beer. Good service, the bar tender was very friendly. The only reason I rate it as poor, it’s because of a particular waitress they have working there. She had tattoos down her arm. We went there 2 night in a row for beer because we had family in town and they enjoy local breweries. As soon as we stepped foot in the building we were greeted by this lady and right from the gecko she was terrible. Very rude, awful people skills, didn’t know how to talk to people. I thought it was just a bad night for her and let it slide. Wasn’t going to write a review about it. But we went back there the following night we were seated at a table by the bar. Every time we went up to the bar to grab a beer she would ask “are you going to sit there all night” well ya it’s a restaurant. That’s what people do. She must have asked that at least 8 times with a terrible tone like she was better than everyone. I would never go back to this place, while this waitress is working there.
Located just down the street from the MTC Main stage and Warehouse, this was a convenient place to have lunch. Service was great and the menu offered plenty of options. If you had proof of being at The Fringe, they even had a deal- flatbread pizza and 16 oz Peg draft for $18. Great deal. The Donny Lablonde draft was good! Both the mushroom flatbread and the prosciutto flatbread were excellent!
