I enjoyed my meal the Chipotle Firecracker Burger, and others at my table did, too. A couple folks did not enjoy their dinners, however, specifically the belgian waffle chicken burger it was a new menu item that went with the current promotion. Both diners said the waffle was too sweet and ruined the burger. For the most part, our group had a good time. Our server could have been slightly more attentive refilling our drinks, but it was Saturday night and he was probably busy. It is not really my issue that he is busy. After all, I am the paying customer, so I expect my drink to be refilled and not sit empty for too long. If it is too busy, perhaps just leave us with a pitcher, that would make sense. Other than this minor bit of unattentiveness, our experience was very good.
We've always love to go Montana's. love the atmosphere specially the cool stuff hanging on the ceiling. Most of all love the good yet affordable food!
Yesterday a group of blind people (Blindees) met in Montanas restaurant near Polo Park to attend a CNIB organized lunch. Montana opens at 11:30, but some of the “blinds” came from Handi Transit. This service is best to respond to the needs of people who are disabled as soon as possible. Due to the demand for service and availability of units, Handi Transit cannot always be on time as it would like. In this case they were 20 minutes early, on a blistering cold and windy day. The blind came to lock the door. They hit the door until someone finally came to the door. He wouldn't open the door to let her in from the cold, but he said he'd ask his manager. After a few minutes, they were worried that he never wanted to return. The Handi Transit driver took pity to the blind and offered to let them wait in his vehicle. A very welcome human gesture. Montana's employee never returned and the iron blind had to wait until 11:30 until Montana opened her door. This was pointed to the manager quite powerfully, but in no case. There was no excuse. In Fairness, when we had set ourselves, the food was very good, like the serving staff. We appreciate the additional care given to our group of 14.
Friendly, excellent service, but the dinners were only average. Too much dough on the fish and the steak was chewing. Apart from potatoes and some carrots, it does not seem to be vegetables on the menu. I think it would be a good idea to add a few.
Avoid at all costs. The quality of food is what you would expect from a gas station. The ribs are prefabricated factory ribs and only after Montanas reheating. They use Bbq sauce to mask it. Steaks are the only fresh meat they cook, but are low end cuts at a premium price. Everything else on the menu is a reheating or prefabricated items. The service is very incompatible. Portion size is ridiculous. I have 10 French Pommes with my Rib dinner. If you want better quality for the money you spend, go to Mcdonald's.
