Copper Chimney - Winnipeg

This is a great spot for any blundering American, such as myself, trying to find an air bnb after ending up in Paris unexpectedly.

Awesome place for eat India food. Good service with excellent food. I never have that food in Winnipeg.

Visited this restaurant with wife and my son for weekend supper.The restaurant caters for Indian food. It is on a busy thoroughfare & has adequate parking place.The place is small & decor simple. We waited for approximately fifty minutes (after placing the order) for the starter to arrive. Main course was to follow.To our dismay, it failed to arrive. The waitress did not even once apologised for the delay though she was peeping at us from corner of doorway of the kitchen. The starter ordered was simple & usual foodstuff and there was no reason for the delay.We decided to call it a day & leave without taking food.Nobody made an effort to stop us or enquire why we were leaving.The dishes in menu card are standard for an Indian restaurant. Price reasonable. Cannot comment on portion or taste as the food never arrived.Memorable experience.

The family went for dinner, we had driven by many times, and said we should stop. When did a search online for East Indian places, that was one that popped up, so we went and gave it a try. Not many cars in the parking lot, we were a little skeptical, but went in, were greeted, told we could sit where we like, and menu's were given. The Food was Great, the music in the background made for a great atmosphere, few tables were taken, but lots of deliveries going out the door, definitely a place would call for delivery if not wanting to go out one night!Will be back!
