Contribuiți la feedbackHad lunch at Cafe Lemon Tree Had the Beef Bulgogli Panini and Beef Bulgogli stir fry. Both were excellent! The bread for the panini was so fresh . Service was also excellent Would definitely recommend and would come again
An interesting little place that is a bit confused as far as the decor goes but the food quality is outstanding so keep your eyes on your meal and ignore the confusion of collectables and nik naks. A lovely menu of a surprising number of offerings and, from what we sampled, I expect all may be equally exceptional. Our table had Beef Bulgogi and Spicy Korean BBQ Skillets. I had the spicy pork and was surprised at the taste. It was full of flavor and so good. It's called spicy but it's only slightly so and all the flavours of the noodles and veggies could be easily discovered as they were not shouted down by too much spice. The dish came with french fries which was a bit of a surprise. And then a double surprise when it was discovered that these fries are the best in town. The menu goes on for several pages so there will certainly be quite a few more visits to see if the other pages offer the same high level dishes. The service is very friendly and responsive. We were here for lunch and it was all handled quite professionally.
This is one of those places that I have driven past often but never noticed. I'm glad I found it, though. We met someone here for afternoon tea and loved it. The decor is charming with a few tables shaped like lemons. Our waitress was very helpful and friendly. The menu had good variety and we would like to return for lunch some day. We did enjoy the honey bread, a thick slice of bread that was covered in a sweet sauce that left a bit of a crunchy coating. All topped with a mini mountain of whipped cream. Yum. My wife and her niece shared the Belgian waffle with strawberries. We're looking forward to trying other items on the menu next time we're in Winnipeg.
Went for lunch food was frozen then re deep fried and reheated, terrible, will never go back . Even though I only order 2 things, I did not finish either and never took to take home. I told the youg girl that the food was terrible and she just walked away and brought me the bill. Not impressed with the service and the atmosphere is confusing with tea cups and junk full or dust everywhere.
The Lemon Tree meets our family’s diverse needs—it’s a great place to meet up with friends for tea, enjoy a lovely family brunch or pop in for lunch or supper after a visit to the physiotherapists next door. The decor is best described as English Cottage and there are a number of matching items on the menu—old-fashioned English breakfasts, hot tea served in China cups-with-saucers and a selection of pastries. The sandwich and salad selections rival any served in this city. Then, quite unexpectedly, there is also a host of hot Korean skillets with a variety of components (choice of meat or fish, stir-fried veggies-and-tropical-fruits, noodles, rice, steak-cut fries, etc. and assorted traditional condiments. We’ve been steadily working our way through the extensive menu and no one in our family has ever been disappointed!
