Johnees - Winnipeg Beach

When I got to Winnipeg beach from a long drive I was starving for a juicy fresh burger, I saw johnees was open so I decided to go in. When I walked in I was greeted by friendly staff nice restaurant and most importantly amazing food, the burger was juicy the homemade fries were crispy and the drink was very good 100% recommend to anyone who loves in Winnipeg Beach. Waited in line forever to buy fries this past weekend and upon being able to order, was told I could not only order fries and the order had to be bigger than that. Love the place but its the last time I step foot in it. Food: 5 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 2

Recently went one evening to order for take out, pretty simple order, 2 orders of chicken fingers and a poutine. Took food over to beach area picnic tables to enjoy, the French fries in poutine were not fully cooked and very tasteless, even with the gravey and cheese on it. Chicken fingers were also tasteless frozen generic) Meal with 2 drinks was 35 bucks. Took food back, was basically told that is the way the way they make it all the time. Ordered 4 poutines $44.00) yikes! No taste at all. The fries tasted freezer burnt or just really starchy. No one finished their food and just ended up in the garbage. Definitely won't be back. Do not recommend. Food: 1 Service: 2 Atmosphere: 2
