Contribuiți la feedbackHad to try this highly touted pizza, and brought a friend. The Neopolitan style pie was exceptional the crust was light and crisp, but far too little sauce and toppings. Calamari was crisp and the sauce was lemon deliciousness!!! Shrimp in white wine sauce was okay, skimpy on shrimp for the price. Bread sticks were so tender and flavourful, I stopped eating my dinner so I can have more bread! Will return for some delicious looking salads.
I loovvveee nicolino’s. We usually go twice a monthThere serrento salad is the best! And the bread that comes with the meal is always warm, fresh from the oven.Staff is always super friendly
My friend and I went to this restaurant last Friday night for dinner. We were seated promptly at the lounge as we had requested. Our server brought us a warm fresh bread with butter to start. I ordered the Fettuccine Chili Cream prawns with cashews, grape tomatoes, in a spicy chili cream sauce and a tossed salad on the side. The pasta was hand-made and delicious, but I was underwhelmed by the sauce which tasted more like curry than spicy chili. My friend ordered the Chevre Salad with mixed greens, fennel, red onion, strawberries, pecans and asked to add prawns for protein, which came with a crostini with goat cheese. Our server was friendly and efficient but accidentally brought chicken instead of prawns - my friend didn't mind. They have a nice selection of wines and overall, we had a good time. We might come back to try their thin crust pizza, but we won't hurry back.
My friend and I ended up at this restaurant for a late dinner after a day of shopping in the area. The lounge was packed with live jazz, which sounded fantastic, but we had to sit in the quiet restaurant area. We were tempted by the fact that all their pasta is fresh and homemade, so I ordered the pasta Reginette with wild boar in a tomato sauce, accompanied by a side salad. My friend opted for the carbonara with a small Sorrento salad. The bread they brought to the table was great, and the salads were delicious. However, the pasta fell a bit short. The carbonara was very greasy and had a metallic taste, served on a small plate. The Reginette was more like a vodka sauce and was too sweet for my taste. I wasn't even sure if it was actually wild boar or beef. The portions were large, though, which could be attributed to the late hour we dined. Our server was attentive and charming, and we enjoyed her service. However, the price seemed a bit high, with $50 each for a glass of wine and a bowl of pasta feeling a bit overpriced. We might come back to try other items on the menu, perhaps enjoying some appetizers, wine, and live jazz next time.
The Swizzle Styx dined here last week and it was perfection! We ate in the private room and simply requested the chef to cook for us so I’m not sure if what we ate were even menu items. Our service was excellent and it was one of the best meals I’ve ever had.
