Sonic Drive-in - Winfield

Every time I have visited this location since August 2022 they are too busy standing around and talking to answer the button. When they do answer they’re (in)conveniently out of every item I try to order. The last time I tried to order from here they were out of tea and ice creamhow is SONIC out of ice cream?! Glad they’re “temporarily closed;” hopefully they’ll hire a new staff! Meal type: Other

I’ve had nothing but issues every time I visit Sonic in Winfield. On three or four occasions, I waited over 30 minutes for my order and eventually ended up driving away without it. Other times, there were mistakes with my order. Because of these experiences, I’ve decided to stop going there altogether. Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner.

The food is generally good, and the carhops, even though they are always understaffed due to COVID, are very friendly. However, I only gave two stars because I've visited twice in the past two months and noticed that several stalls were out of order. Either the lights were off, making it impossible to see the menu, the microphone or speaker wasn't functioning, the red button didn't work, or the card reader/touch screen was malfunctioning. Additionally, the landscaping needs attention. This impacts our town's appearance since Sonic is one of the first businesses visitors see as they enter.

The food was fantastic, and the service was exceptional. The atmosphere was enjoyable as well. Parking was a breeze, with plenty of free parking available.
