What a delightful discovery! I can't believe I just found this gem! Don’t let the somewhat outdated decor put you off; the food here is fantastic! I ordered a spinach and feta omelet with hash browns, and for my side, I chose the red velvet pancakes (which I was really craving anyway), and they were incredible! My dad tried the regular pancakes with some thick-cut bacon and said they were the best pancakes he’s ever had! It was quite empty at 11 am on a Friday, and our food arrived quickly. I’m already looking forward to my next visit!

My husband and I discovered this hidden gem a few months ago. I find the comments about the interior to be quite exaggerated. The restaurant has a warm and welcoming atmosphere. While it may not be extravagant, I enjoy the hummingbird artwork that adorns the walls. I believe it's a family-owned establishment. The food is genuinely delicious, and the waitstaff has always been courteous to us. We typically visit for breakfast, and I absolutely love the original pancakes—they remind me of cake batter! The fried pickles and cheeseburger are fantastic as well.

I frequently visit this charming little restaurant during my lunch break, and I absolutely adore it! The service is excellent, and the food is consistently wonderful. I highly recommend it to everyone!

The food was delicious and offered at a great price. We had the tuna salad and the hummingbird breakfast, which comes with hash browns, eggs, your choice of meat, and either pancakes or toast. The pancakes were incredibly fluffy. The best part was the excellent service; the staff were very accommodating. I would definitely return!

Hummingbird Restaurant provides delicious food and excellent service in a clean atmosphere. We absolutely love their creamy chicken and rice soup, especially on Sundays, served with garlic toast. They even offer free refills for the soup bowls! In the photo, you can see my husband enjoying it with his breakfast—he really can't resist it. I was in the mood for a pub-style burger and was curious if it would be as good here, considering everything else we've tried has been tasty. To my delight, I ordered a fantastic half-pound burger with fries, and it came with a bowl of soup! The service was great as well. They've made some renovations during their downtime, and the servers are seating tables apart and wearing masks, which is reassuring if you're concerned about that this year. We've been frequenting this restaurant for a year and a half, and we've been hoping they would survive the shutdown because we love their food so much.
