The Garden Asian Vegetarian Cuisine

I tried this place on a whim when I saw the word vegetarian. It was 10% OFF everything for "Meatless Monday;" all the better. I had the hot and sour soup, which was thick, not too hot for me, and overflowing with strips of tofu and veggies. For my main course I had the E10 Mixed vegetables because the description mentioned black and other mushrooms. Oh, my gosh! This was probably the tastiest vegetable dish I've ever had in any restaurant--Asian or otherwise. The black fungus was accompanied by at least two or three other types of mushrooms, each with its own flavour. There were so many intriguing items on the menu, such as "Crispy Oyster," which is actually made out of seaweed fritter. (Nothing on the menu is actually animal product, though names of items include words such as "chicken-flavoured" and "beef-textured." I am eager to return to try some of these items!Service was prompt and friendly; the environment was clean and pleasant.

This is a great vegetarian restaurant. The food is very tasty. It is like eating Chinese food with real chicken or beef. The service is great. The staff is very friendly. They serve you fast. The place is very small and cozy. Great option for vegetarians. The menu is quite extensive.

Had drove along the Wyandotte St and found this Vegetarian restaurant, went in and tried out some Veggie food for dinner, the food was tasty and at a reasonable price, they have a variety of choices of Veggie food, the place is not big but clean, after dinner, what surprised us was the restaurant offered clients with dessert, which was a tasty jello cake, you can either choose coffee or green tea flavour. I recommend you should pay a visit and try out thier good food for your next trip to Windsor!

We visited The Garden because of a Groupon but will be returning to eat at this establishment again.We were greeted upon entry and seated very quickly. Drink orders were taken and delivered promptly. We were eating early so we chose the luncheon special which consisted of soup (Hot and Sour), a main with vegetables or a salad, our choice of 3 different rices and 2 "nuggets" with sauce. Everything was piping hot and the spice level was perfect (for me).The entire restaurant appear spotless. The only difficulty someone might find is parking. Located within the University of Windsor Area, all of the parking on the side streets is allocated to Residential Permit parking. So, it's either find parking at a meter on Wyandotte or you might be out of luck. It is still worth the visit!

The servers are SO pleasant. Fast food to your table. My husband is NOT a vegetarian and he thinks this is some of the best food in Windsor (close to eating Chinese food). U will not be disappointed with this restaurant.
