Marukin Steak & Sushi - Windsor

Thai food is our thing. Every city we're traveling shows Thai restaurants. Windsor has some worthy places like Toronto and New Orleans. The best of the pile is Marukin in Windsor, Ontario. Great food, excellent service and the atmosphere is relaxed.

We tried Marukin for the first time and it was one of the best Thai meals we've had in a long time. The small, picturesque restaurant was bustling with both dine-in and takeout orders. We started with the delicious jumping reels which set the tone for the rest of our meal. We enjoyed Sweet and Sour Pork, Red Curry Beef, beef with green beans, and garlic eggplant, all bursting with flavor. The dishes were perfectly spiced and we were pleased to see the restaurant following all the necessary COVID-19 protocols. We look forward to trying more items from their menu in the future.

Great little place with AMAZING food and fantastic friendly service! Our waitress was super attentive and very helpful when choosing what to order, also was able to recommend and alternative to the children's menu for our super picky eater! The food was fresh, beautifully presented and...super tasteful! I would drive the 3 hours from our house to Windsor to eat here for the sole purpose! An incredibly good place. I HIGHLY recommend it! (I know... No joke?

The food and service at this restaurant were excellent. We tried the Thai cuisine and it was delicious. I would highly recommend this place to others, as the prices are very affordable.

My taste buds were blown away. We started with the shrimp chips with peanut sauce, which had a nice kick to it but was definitely worth it. My husband had the sushi and said it was excellent. I went for the shrimp and cashew with Thai sauce, which was phenomenal. My husband tried the Tom Yum soup, which was just like the one he had in Thailand. The restaurant had a great location with plenty of parking, good service, and you could even watch them prepare your food. Overall, we were very impressed.
