Mandarin House Restaurant - Windsor

We love Mandarin House. The food is great and so are the owners. We have never had a bad meal there. I crave their diced chicken with dry hot peppers and peanuts. Also no msg in their food!

My boyfriend and I were excited to try this place. We ordered the shanghai noodles with pork and shrimp and the mixed veggies with beef. The price was great (only BUT... everything tasted very bland. There really wasn't any taste to the meat or...the noodles. We had to add our own seasonings just to make it edible. We were super disappointed. Better off ordering from Ho Wah down tecumseh.

Wonderful food, easy prices, attentive service. All of those are what I look for in a Chinese restaurant. The décor, however, needs a facelift. It really is old dated. This Ouellette Ave is a great location within walking distance to the Detroit River, ..Windsor casino. Vegetarian options are available.

This was an amazing dinner and a very reasonable price! i visited alone, and had the dinner special which included soup, and my main with rice. i opted to upgrade from the steamed rice to the fried rice for a dollar more i think. I...had the mushroom with beef and the egg drop soup, and all the ingredients were fresh and it definitely tasted like my food was made to order not sitting in a pan on a line. it was one of the best Chinese dinners I've had in a long time. location probably is a downfall for those looking to dine in as it is right on Ouellette and parking is a bit tough, but i was walking distance from my hotel and i will absolutely return. Service was fantastic, the service was stellar, and my meal was amazing. if you are close, make you you hit this place up even if its take out i loved it and will be back. Highly recommended!

My husband and I ate there a few times and the food NEVER disappoints. The staff are so friendly and the service is fast and the prices are great.This is definitely one of Windsors hidden gems. I highly recommend this restaurant. Looking forward to going...back.
