Koryo Korean Barbeque - Windsor

If you visit the mall and want to try some great Korean food try Koryo. Koryo: Bibinbap Chicken for 16.84tax in was a great filling meal with lots of veggies and a perfectly fried egg.

Was in there today and got such a small portion of beef. I was excited to finally have a place with beef bulgogi but for $12 for 3/4 rice and 1/4 beef I didn?t think it was worth it which is too bad because it tastes amazing and the beef was so tender. Ikept digging in the box to see if it was layered but nope.

The kimchi rice, potatoes, and protein dishes here are quite tasty. There's a decent variety on the menu, but the meat portions are on the small side for $25. I ordered chicken and received a tiny serving of flank beef. This is your typical mall KBBQ experience, and I'm grateful that we still have a Korean BBQ option in Windsor. However, the pricing likely explains the low number of customers. While the side portions are generous, the small meat servings don't feel balanced in terms of value, though they do fill you up. Another issue is the emphasis on speed; the presence of a manager constantly urging the staff leads to food that isn't cooked as thoroughly as it could be. It was warm enough for me to think it was over 160°F, but it could have been hotter. Will I return? Maybe. This place is definitely a step up from the Manchu Wok next door in terms of taste and health, but I might avoid the food court at Devonshire Mall due to its inflated prices.

I'm so glad I decided to try the food here tonight! It was absolutely delicious! The portion size was perfect for me, and I have enough left over for tomorrow. I ordered the Beef BBQ combo, along with dumplings and pasta salad. I'm really happy I finally tried this place—I’ve noticed it at Devonshire Mall several times, and it always smelled amazing. I’m so pleased I gave it a shot, and you should definitely do the same!

The portions were extremely small. More importantly, my dish was very chewy, and my partner's had a lot of gristle and bones. I was really disappointed, and it wasn't worth the price. I won't be coming back here again.
