India Palace Sweet Restaurant - Windsor

Best authentic Punjabi food in Windsor hands down. This is my go to spot for a classic North Indian dish kadi pakora and their tawa roti or chawal!

Overall a disappointing experience. i got a dall soup and a chicken biryani and neither of them came with salt. they tasted like nothing out the box. also, the biryani didn't even come with raita to drizzle over. it also was just generally poor quality. the meat was pretty tough and had a less than appetizing texture. there were no whole spices either, and no vegetables other than bell peppers and chilis. some people also complained about the meat being rotten or raw. personally, i don't believe that's happened to me but there's definitely something wrong with it; when i get biryani the chicken is always more tender than this. besides, a lot of those complaints don't come out of nowhere. anybody who insists this is the best indian food in windsor is likely either lying or has no idea what they're talking about. there's better restaurants around town for sure. i should have also added that the naan weren't even fresh. they were obviously pre-made, likely store-bought.

Not the worst but certainly not great especially for Windsor. Being that we have a large Indian community, you can find some excellent food. I wouldn’t recommend going here if somewhere else is open. The pakora was greasy and stale, and the curry was lacking in flavour.

The least spicy is still very very hot. If you don't like spice I would not recommend this place. Makes no sense either to have to pay for rice separate.. Hurry Curry at the mall WAY better price food and portions. The lady was nice but will not be returning.

Unnecessarily I tried this place. Butter chicken (Hot) was in grey colour with uncooked chicken and disgusting flavour. I have ordered 3 types of naans and they all were tasted the same with rotten dove smell. The cheese garlic naan which was having no cheese at all inside it has been wasted after eating one bite as it was completely spoiled. I really really disappointed with the food and wasted hard earned money and time. Awaited with hunger and wasted the food on disappointment. Never ever try this place.
