Heather Bell Fish & Chips - Windsor

My first visit here was for fish & chips at lunch and i loved it. Great hand cut fries accompany your fish along with tons of lemon, tartar and coleslaw. Next time i'll try the scallops or maybe breakfast as it's open early.

I think that they make the best fish and chips for the price in the city. I prefer over Pat and Hanks and Sir Cedrics. The Kildare offers up tight competition

Excellent fish and chips here, the halibut is really good. The original owners had it for years and as a younger lad I would stop in there more to see their beautiful twin daughters working the fryers. :) The only draw back is the place really needs a good spruce up, the owner is a beutiful person with great intentions but the cleanliness bothers me, otherwise I would go more often. Don't let that stop you from sampling the fish, it really is that good.

Food was quite average. Priced too high for what we got. The lady that runs it is very nice and is proud of the longevity of this restaurant, but it is really old and as mentioned not too special.

It had been ages since we've had fish & chips. We are so glad we ordered takeout from Heather Bell tonight. Food was fast and delicious as always. No matter how rough your day has been, one stop at Heather Bell will brighten it. Definitely worth a trip down Ottawa St if you love fish & chips!
