Contribuiți la feedbackThe restaurant offers authentic Arabic cuisine that tastes fresh and delicious. My only suggestion is to ensure that the koobeh is fried thoroughly. While the outside was crispy, the inner crust was raw. Other than that, it was an excellent meal!
This is our go to spot for dine-in Lebanese food, which is one of our favorite types of food. Yes, sometimes the meat comes dry, but on average the food is some of the best in the city. I've ordered most of the menu, but...usually find my way back to a Mixed Shawarma Plate. One of the great features of this restaurant is how fast the food comes. It's perfect for families who don't want to sit around for a 1 hour dining experience.
I found the chicken dry and overcooked, so definitely not worth $18. The rice and humus was tasty. Service is good and friendly. The baklava is not worth buying and doesn't even taste or look like it should. I probably won't be back. It does...not compare to Mazaar.
My buddy and I shared this massive BBQ platter, which includes a hearty salad, 3 types of meats, rice, pickles and pita. It also comes with some fresh hummus and their signature garlic paste, which is to die for. Overall food is fresh and the...decor sets the mood for some great middle eastern cuisine! Definitely a must try for middle eastern food.
Two of my best buddies growing up were Lebanese and I absolutely loved it when their Mothers would ask me to stay for dinner. El Mayor has the same warm welcoming atmosphere! The menu has a wide range of choices. If your a first timer...maybe you want to try a few appetizers such as lentil soup, fried Kibbi, taboulie, grape leaves and the homous with fried meat. Yummy! Next time I go (which will be soon) I will try one of the lamb dishes. Enjoy!
